Outdoors · Legal public access

Find public ramps and hunting land without digging through five apps.

Pick a state and type any city or ZIP, switch between boat ramps and public hunting land, and get directions before you hitch up.

How it works

  1. Pick a state & city — we center on that town.
  2. Scan the list & map — distance, waterbody, and access type.
  3. Open directions — jump to maps before you leave the driveway.

Built for the trailer hitch crowd

Public Access pulls open inventories of legal public launches so hunters, anglers, and boat owners spend less time hunting ramps and more time on the water.

  • Texas — TPWD Inland Fisheries public boat ramps
  • Florida — FWC Boat Ramp Inventory
  • Hawaii — DLNR DOBOR Small Boat Harbors/Ramps (Statewide GIS)
  • All other states + DC — BoatLaunchMap open launch data (CC BY 4.0)
  • Hunting land, all 50 states + DC — USGS PAD-US: state conservation/wildlife areas, WMAs, national wildlife refuges, waterfowl production areas, national forests & grasslands

All 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. Search any city, town, or ZIP.state page for counts.
